Us watching the parade
Campfire fun!

Small town celebrations are the best.  We headed up to my family cabin in heber to celebrate Independence day right! It started out with friday night with a fire and smores (such a perfect treat!) Then saturday morning we headed to see the parade in our matching flag shirts (thanks mom!) This year the parade was special because my family was in it.  My grandpa restored a 1941 chevy pickup and wanted to show it off. So he drove in the parade pulling a trailer with some of the family, we chose not to ride in the parade and I'm glad we did.  They got soaked with water guns half way through the parade. Also in the parade was a group dressed as the village people dancing to YMCA, can we say awesome! Once again heber parade you didn't disappoint!  That night we went to see the best fireworks show in Az!  Olivia enjoyed giving us a play by play of all the colors and shapes. And Gracie was in Awe and actually sat still for a few minutes. We had such a fun weekend away from the heat.  Olivia keeps asking me to go back to heber, hopefully we can make it up there again this summer!

what a fun time! I agree...small town celebrations are the best! We went to taylor for the rodeo and fireworks...it was awesome! We went into Heber on Sunday for church and heard all about the water fight during the parade, so I think you were smart to stay out of the parade! You guys look adorable in your flag shirts, I used to do that every year also! Cute kiddos also
